Chkarthemore - A place of malevolent evil - a pit of demons and strife,
where all sane and good natured folk steer well clear of.
Dwarf Kingdom - The lands of the dwarves were largely destroyed in The
Sundering, with almost all of their mountain fortresses collapsing or
falling into the clutches of monsters. Now the only dwarf bastion left is
the massive fortress of Vordaal, where much of the worlds knowledge is
stored.
Ghrea - The magic-saturated homeland of the warmongering, power craving
ghreal, who embrace both arms and magic in their dominating culture
Magador - The harsh frontier on the Bottom of the World; a buffering point
between the land of Oun and the ghreal. Magador is a land which struggles
to keep order within it's own borders without dealing with enemies from
outside them.
Maleri - Once homeland to the atia, but now abandoned by its inhabitants
like all things atian. In the centre sits crumbling Allyon, once the atian
capital and most splendid city in the world.
Nethicka - A shattered land of harsh, sharp looking islands fits the
nature of those who live within the crevasses and caves there. The Gilth
are a spiteful, wicked race who bicker and war with other races and each
other.
Orondor - Once a great kingdom, Orondor has collapsed and become a land of
the walking dead, where nightmares made flesh wander the land, and the
people who live there do so in constant fear of the death that stalks the
country.
Oun - The human warrior state of Oun boasts the most highly trained and
disciplined militia on the planet. An Ounish citizen's duty is to Oun
first and his family second. The Ounish people are fair, proud, and
arrogant.
Outlands - Beyond even the semi-anarchy of Orondor, the Outlands are the
breeding grounds for chaos and strife. Here magic blows too strong, and
has been known to warp those who linger here overlong.
Rune - The homeland of the humans, Rune is a major place of trade and
military power. It is the largest of the realms of men, and the most
prosperous. The Shining City, Eshion, sits at it's heart, and is the seat
of the throne of the noble Queen Tarsis.
Listen to the Runish Anthem.
The Scar - A highly mountainous and dangerous part of the world where fell beasts linger atop the mountains and worse creatures still lurk within the caverns beneath them.
The Steppes - A vast area of largely unexplored arid grasslands, home to a
race of giant humanoid people.
Xakarah - Even the highly volcanic, volatile island of Xakarah supports
life. The industrious trolls - nigh impervious to heat and famed for their
metal working skills - make their home here in the gigantic volcanic
caverns.
